What is podiatry?
A podiatrist specialises in biomechanical foot problems. Using 3D scanning and gait analysis, I assess how your feet function during standing and walking. Treatment typically involves custom-made orthotic insoles, exercise advice and footwear recommendations.

Insurance
Podiatry is covered by most Dutch supplementary health insurance plans (aanvullende verzekering). Coverage varies by insurer, typically between €100 and €500 per year. The mandatory deductible (eigen risico) does not apply. No referral from a GP is needed.
